Consumer Protection BC has suspended the licences of three home inspectors in BC for:
- Failing to obtain and maintain insurance, contrary to section 7.1 (b) of the Home Inspector Licensing Regulation
The individuals/businesses with suspended licences are:
1. Herminigildo Abad Dualan Jr, of Dualan Jr, Herminigildo (DBA Dualan Property Inspections) based in Burnaby, BC

2. Lorne Monroe Henderson, of Henderson Concepts Ltd. (DBA M & M Home Inspections). based in West Kelowna, BC
o Licence suspended on January 17, 2023

3. Grant Eric Beeton, of Beeton, Grant Eric (DBA Canadian Home Inspector) based in Abbotsford, BC
o Licence suspended on January 17, 2023

These home inspectors are also prohibited from conducting home inspections until their licence suspension is lifted.
By law, the individuals/businesses have 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decisions.
