2021 fee schedule (effective January 1, 2021)
- New licence: $5,412
- New licence for a branch office: $2,229
For applications submitted more than two weeks prior to licence expiry:
- Payday lender renewal: $5,306
- Branch location renewal: $2,123
For applications submitted within two weeks prior to licence expiry:
- Payday lender renewal: $5,366
- Branch location renewal: $2,183
Other fees and charges
- Change in licensee’s name or change in licensed location address: $60
- Change in senior officers / shareholder of the licensee: $60
- Submitting a non-sufficient fund (NSF) payment or declined credit card payment: $58
- Application for reconsideration of a decision: $257

Contributions to the Consumer Financial Education Fund
The contribution amounts and administration details of the Consumer Financial Education Fund (CFEF) are defined in Regulation. The CFEF contributions are due at the same time as a new licence application or a licence renewal.
- Head office contribution: $200/year
- Contribution for each branch location: $200/year
- For those businesses becoming licensed throughout the year, the CFEF contribution is pro-rated monthly
