Consumer Protection BC has issued a compliance order against CARE Funeral Services, a licensed funeral services provider based in Victoria BC, for:
- Failing to submit funeral services preneed contract reports to Consumer Protection BC in accordance with section 10 (1) of the Consumer Contracts Regulation

The business has also been ordered to reimburse Consumer Protection BC full costs for the inspection in the amount of $700 within 30 days.
By law, the business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.
