Consumer Protection BC has issued a compliance order and an administrative penalty against Wiebe & Jeske Burial & Cremation Care Providers Ltd., a licensed funeral provider based in Abbotsford BC, for:

The business has been ordered to reimburse Consumer Protection BC inspection costs in the amount of $3,459 within 30 days. The business has also been issued a supplemental compliance order that requires the business prepare the report as detailed in the previous compliance order (dated Feb 10, 2021) and submit it with 45 days. 

By law, the business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.

All money received from administrative penalties is deposited into the Consumer Advancement Fund (as required by section 169 of the BPCPA).
