Consumer Protection BC has issued new compliance orders against two funeral directors and/or embalmer(s) for:
- Failing to comply with a compliance order, contrary to section 63(d)(i) of the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Act
Both individuals have been ordered to comply with additional reporting requirements related to their training and to pay Consumer Protection BC partial costs for the inspections in the amounts of $265 within 30 days.
The two funeral directors and/or embalmer(s) subject to enforcement action are
- Sandra-Leigh Regier (funeral director and embalmer)
- Read the compliance order and the full reasons for the decision
- Daniel William Salmon (funeral director)
- Read the compliance order and the full reasons for the decision
By law, each individual has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.
