Consumer Protection BC has issued a compliance order against McLean’s Funeral Services and Crematorium Ltd., a licensed funeral home based in Chilliwack BC, for:
- Failing to submit a preneed services report to the director, pursuant to section 10(3) of the Consumer Contracts Regulation (CCR)
The business has been ordered to submit the preneed report within 21 days and to reimburse Consumer Protection BC costs for the inspection in the amount of $420.
By law, the business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.
