Consumer Protection BC has issued an administrative penalty and licence suspension for BNW Travel Management Ltd. (DBA Brave New World), a travel agency based in Vancouver BC, for:
- Failing to provide the required financial report within 90 days of the fiscal year, ending January 31, 2019, contrary to section 12 (1) of the Travel Industry Regulation, an administrative penalty of $4,000
The licence is suspended on July 2, 2019, until further notice. Read the licence suspension.
By law, a business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision. Businesses or individuals must not operate with a suspended licence.
