Consumer Protection BC has suspended the licence of Coast to Coast Video Sales Ltd. (DBA Adult Super Store), an adult video store based in Surrey BC, for selling unapproved adult films, contrary to section 3(2) of the Motion Picture Act (MPA).
The suspension will take effect on August 10, 2018, through August 12, 2018. Read the licence suspension notice and reasons for the decision.
During the suspension, the business is not allowed to rent, lease, sell, or supply adult films, offer to do any of those things, or generally conduct any business, including any promotion of the business to the public, as an adult film retail store.
By law, the business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.
