Consumer Protection BC has issued a compliance order against Adam McNaughton AKA Decks4life.com a business based in Kelowna, BC, for:
- Failing to provide the consumer with a copy of the future performance within 15 days of when the contract was entered into with the consumer, contrary to section 23 (3) of the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act(BPCPA)
The business has also been ordered to refund the consumer $2,750 and to reimburse Consumer Protection BC partial costs for the inspection in the amount of $450 within 30 days.
By law, the business has 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision.
