Consumer Protection BC has suspended the licence of Agence de Recouvrement Solutions Inc./Collection Agency Solutions Inc., a BC debt collection agency, for:
- Failing to provide the required annual financial statement within 90 days of the fiscal year ending December 31, 2020, contrary to section 10 (1) of the Debt Collection and Repayment Regulation
The licence is suspended as of ____ and will remain in effect until the financial statement is provided. A condition has been added to the license restricting debt collection activity while the license is suspended. In addition, the 2020 financial statement is required to be provided by June 18th, 2021.
By law, businesses have 30 days to request a reconsideration of the decision. Businesses or individuals must not operate with a suspended licence.
