Mexicana Airlines Suspends Ticket Sales Indefinitely Print E-mail

{August 5, 2010)  VICTORIA, BC – Consumer Protection BC is advising travel consumers that Mexicana Airlines (CMA) has announced the suspension of reservations and the issuing of tickets for flights operated by Mexicana Airlines as the company has filed for bankruptcy.

The Mexicana Airlines website states that consumers who have already booked with the airline will still receive service.  The airline will continue operations as scheduled in the interest of protecting passengers who already have tickets and flight itineraries.

Domestic flights operated by MexicanaClick nor MexicanaLink are not affected.
