{January 27, 2011} VICTORIA, BC – Further to determinations issued by Consumer Protection BC on November 9, 2010 finding that The Cash Store Financial Services Ltd. ("Cash Store") was in violation of British Columbia payday lending regulations, Cash Store, pursuant to section 181(1) of the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (the "Act"), filed an application for reconsideration dated December 9, 2010. Consumer Protection BC has decided to reconsider the determinations. The reconsideration process is currently underway. Pursuant to s. 181(3)(b) of the Act, all determinations against Cash Store are stayed, pending further order.
