Consumer Protection BC Assumes Responsibility for Canada 3000 Holidays Refunds Print E-mail

{June 16, 2010} VICTORIA, BC – Following the discharge of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) as the judicial trustee, the Supreme Court of British Columbia approved Consumer Protection BC as the administrator of the C3 Leisure Limited (C3 Holidays) trust account for BC and Western Canada.

C3 Holidays filed for bankruptcy in November 2001 and PWC assumed responsibility for reimbursing eligible travelers out of a trust account. While the majority of eligible claimants have received refunds, outstanding claims still remain.

As the administrator of the trust account, Consumer Protection BC is now responsible for verifying eligibility and processing the remaining claims.

C3 Holidays claimants were assigned a claim number beginning with a "V" by PWC.  C3 Holidays clients with a claim beginning with "V" and who have not received 100% of their claim may be eligible for a refund from Consumer Protection BC.  The names of the remaining eligible claimants have now been posted on at www.travelrightsbc.ca.

To file a claim with Consumer Protection BC, you can fill out the claim form here or submit an online claim.  The deadline for filing a claim is November 18, 2012.
