| Consumer Notice: Oasis Airlines and TAF Update |

{July 4, 2008} VICTORIA, BC – On April 10, 2008 Oasis Airlines cancelled all flights which affected many passengers. On June 11, 2008 the High Court of Hong Kong Special Administration Region ordered that Oasis Airlines be wound up. Any consumers who purchased tickets on Oasis Airlines should be made aware that KPMG is currently handling all matters related to the airline’s future. All affected consumers should file a claim with KPMG. Travelers with unused Oasis Airlines tickets who booked through a licensed BC travel agent may be eligible to claim under the BC Travel Assurance Fund (TAF) and are advised to also file a claim with the TAF. Please note that the TAF will not be processing claims until it is decided if passengers will be receiving compensation from KPMG. The TAF is a fund of last resort and claims must be filed within six months of the loss. The following were some helpful steps should you wish to file a claim with the TAF:
All claims will be held for a minimum of six months to determine the extent of the impact on the fund or until KPMG announces their final decision around the future of Oasis Airlines.
