This new website portal, which co-exists with our larger Consumer Protection BC website, provides timely and relevant information for both consumers and licensed businesses. This includes the latest film classifications (ratings) for movies in the theater. You can now find all of our information in one location!

Industry professionals will benefit from direct access to industry news, licensing information, related law, forms, details about their licence, and compliance tools such as violation reporting. All this delivered through a customized and secure space for all our licensed businesses.

This portal will also help consumers understand their rights and obligations when dealing with the motion picture industry and film classification, they can read industry news, connect with us via our blog, Facebook and Twitter, and get accurate information to make more informed decisions as a BC consumer.

An RSS feed for news related to this industry is also available for those who wish to receive motion picture industry news from Consumer Protection BC as soon as it is posted.
