Release of 2012-2014 Business Plan Print E-mail

{January 6, 2012} VICTORIA Bc - We are pleased to present Consumer Protection BC’s Business Plan covering the period from 2012 to 2014. Like our preceding three year Business Plans, this plan results from an active process involving the Board, the Leadership Team and all staff at Consumer Protection BC.

Our goals for 2011-2013 were:

  • Goal 1: Improve consumers’ abilities to make informed decisions
  • Goal 2: Reduce the incidence of violations
  • Goal 3: Build trust with Consumer Protection BC stakeholders
  • Goal 4: Foster a high performance organization focusing on service delivery, employee engagement, and financial sustainability

Consumer Protection BC is a not-for-profit corporation that was created to strengthen consumer protection in BC and enforce consumer protection laws. We balance the interests of all parties to promote a marketplace that is fair for both BC consumers and BC businesses.
