2012 Home Inspector Fee Notice Print E-mail

Consumer Protection BC regulates BC home inspectors operating within BC or who offer home inspection services to BC consumers. This includes licensing home inspectors, ensuring that licensees comply with the home inspection laws in BC, and responding to complaints about the BC home inspection industry. This notice   licence fees for home inspectors effective May 1, 2012. There has been one fee increase ($100 to $150) for licensed BC home inspectors since the introduction of licensing in April, 2009. After an industry consultation in the fall of 2011, a new fee schedule was approved by the Board of Directors of Consumer Protection BC in November, 2011. With this notice, we are providing a copy of the new 2012 Fee Schedule for home inspectors that will take effect May 1, 2012.

{January 25, 2011} Consumer Protection BC is pleased to announce that we have installed a digital projector to accommodate film distributors. We will begin accepting digital prints for classification effective immediately.
