Consumer Protection BC Releases MPA Administration Annual Report Print E-mail

{June 19, 2012} VICTORIA, BC – Consumer Protection BC is pleased to release the 2011 Annual Report: Administration of the Motion Picture Act (MPA). This report details the specific accomplishments Consumer Protection BC achieved in 2011 related to our responsibilities under the MPA.

Since July 1, 2007, Consumer Protection BC and the BC Ministry of Justice have shared an Administrative Agreement that delegates responsibility for administration of the Motion Picture Act (MPA) and Regulations to Consumer Protection BC. Section 7.05 of this agreement mandates Consumer Protection BC to annually evaluate and report on performance objectives, operations, policies, service standards, and legislative issues.
