{June 17, 2005} VICTORIA – The Business Practices & Consumer Protection Authority is seeking applicants for two positions on the Board of Directors.

The BPCPA, an independent not-for-profit organization, assumed responsibility for the oversight of business practices and consumer protection in British Columbia on July 4, 2004.

The mandate of the BPCPA is to deliver consumer protection services throughout British Columbia, promote fairness and understanding in the marketplace and administer in the public interest any Act, the administration of which is delegated to the Authority.
