Update: Cowichan Valley Crematorium Ltd. is now licensed with Consumer Protection BC. Please refer to this September 5, 2014 web notice for information. 

{March 17, 2014} VICTORIA, BC –
Consumer Protection BC has upheld a September 2012 decision to suspend the licence of Cowichan Valley Crematorium Ltd., effective April 15, 2014. This means that the business must cease providing services by that date.

{August 1, 2013} VICTORIA, BC – Consumer Protection BC has suspended the licence of Parkview Funeral Home, a funeral home located on Main Street in Penticton, BC. The business has also been ordered to pay $2,000 in administrative penalties for non-compliance with BC’s funeral services law.
