{April 15, 2008} VICTORIA, BC – The Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority (BPCPA) is advising consumers that it is pursuing enforcement action against W.R. Chandler Memorials Ltd., a memorial dealer operating in Vancouver BC.

A Director’s Compliance Order has been issued to W.R. Chandler Memorials stating that the company must come into compliance with the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act and refund consumers for products or services not provided. The company sells markers, plaques and tombstones and has 30 days to come into compliance with the Act before further action is undertaken by the BPCPA.
