Welcome to the Consumer Protection BC blog, where we write about consumer protection in BC and share the answers to questions we get from consumers and businesses.
We happily offer tips and helpful information, but do not provide legal advice or opinions. Nor do we speak about any open case files on this blog.
We welcome your questions and comments—you can sign comments with your own name, a pseudonym or anonymously. We review and approve comments and do our very best to make sure your contributions appear promptly.
We don’t expect readers to agree with us all of the time and we want this blog to be a friendly place for debate and discussion. However, we won’t post and/or will remove offensive, disrespectful, threatening and rude comments or comments that disclose another person’s private information, overtly promote products and services, make unsupported accusations, are clearly off topic or are spam.
The blog isn't a political forum, but a place to discuss specific consumer questions and issues that are relevant to this community and the topics that fall within Consumer Protection BC's mandate. Consistent violation of the aforementioned will result in being banned from posting on our blog.
